Holyspirit moves in a mensroom in Istanbul

Welcome, this story is one of my favorite ones when it comes to serving God in a different country. This was on my first missionstrip and I went with Mission SOS to Bulgaria for a crusade among the gypsys and the turkish people in the south in the town of Pazardzik. The crusade in was really a big thing. Of the 90.000 citizens in Pazardzik over 12.000 attended at one meeting. Alot of people got heald and over 5500 people got saved(96% got baptised a short while after that and are now members in local churches).

After the five day crusade, we went on a two day trip to Turkey and the capitalcity, Istanbul. We invited people to a "Swedish-Turkish cultural exchangeparty" at a hotel. As we went about in Istanbul and invited people to the party I saw a few african men (from Nigeria, I they told me later on) , whom I felt lead to invit. When the evening came and it was time for the party 300-400 young turks were there. It was not much room left! And because we were people from a christian country we sang some christian worshipsongs and did some dramas. Then there was a short sermon. At that time some young people got angry and went to the police and told them that we were spreading christian propaganda.(note Turkey is an muslim country). After the meeting I approached the african men and we got into a conversation, they were christians but not yet "baptised with the Holy Spirit". So I asked if the wanted to recive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. And they did. So me and another friend went just outside the room. Then turkish tv showed up (reaching over 75 million people) and we went up the stairs to avoid the tv-team. Then our leader for the trip Johannes Amritzer ran up the stairs saying "You cant stand here praying, the police is coming for an interrogation." So we went into the mensroom at the hotell, and there by the sink the Holy Spirit fell and our nigerian friends recieved the Holy Spirit!

Gods Spirit is changing people all over the world, when people are hungry for him, even at the mens room at an Istanbul hotel!

Tears of Joy on a dusty Kenyan field!

Hello! Today I want to take you with me to Kenya and the year of 2004, when I was attending SOS Mission Bible College .
Everyone in my bibleschoolclass went to Kenya for village outreaches and a crusade in the town of Migori.

This was my second forign missionstrip and my heart was really bleeding for the people even before we came. But there is one story and one person that really tuched my life in a tremendous way.

In the daytime we were out having outreaches in different villages and in the afternoons we were helping out at the crusade and espacially in praying for the sick.

One afternoon we were at the crusadeground and Johannes who was preaching made an altarcall for those who wanted to recive healing in their bodys. And as the people streamed forward a man approached me and asked for prayer. He was limping towards me leaning on a stick. The man was almost paralyzed in the right leg and had a hard time walking, draging his leg forward. I prayed for the man and comanded the leg to get well in the name of Jesus then asked him to try to walk without the stick. What happened was that the man almost fell but I cought him. I said to God, you say in your word that you took our sickness, I stand on your word God!

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Isiah 53:5

And I said to the man that we were not done yet, and I countinued to pray for the man now holding him by the arm walking back and forward. And after a while he said, "its like fire in my leg!!"(Gods power went through his leg) I saw in his eyes how his faith grew and he began to walk by himself almost running, and dancing to the tones of the worshiptime, and I danced along beside him, rejoicing. The day after I was standing at the crusadeground again waiting for the meeting to start and just after the worship began a man turns around and says to me "do you remember me?" (an other thing to mention was that it was around 10000 people there) , it was the man from yeasterday! I said yes and we huged eachother. And the I saw tears streaming down his eyes as he said "Jesus has totally heald my leg I can now walk and stand on my leg!" I will never forget that moment. I will always keep it in my heart as a holy moment. My love for the unreaced of the world has just grown since then. And every time I think back on that day I thank God for letting me experience it!

I hope you get blessed reading this, dont forget to pray for the unreached peoplegroups of the world!

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness
unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Matthew 24:14
